Science & Physics Laboratory for High School
At the local secondary school where some of our MIP students are sponsored, there was a glaring gap in the available resources for students who were interested in pursuing careers in the fields of science, engineering, and medicine. Despite the students' enthusiasm and dedication, they were unable to access the tools and equipment that they needed to develop their skills and knowledge in these areas. I heard the students' requests loud and clear, and immediately set to work to create a science and physics laboratory that would provide them with the resources they needed to pursue their passions and future career goals. In just two weeks, the school was outfitted with a fully equipped lab, complete with 3-D anatomical organ models, a full-sized skeletal model, and organ system posters. These resources allow for hands-on, visual learning for these deserving scholars.
